Holmdel’s combined Cub Scout Packs 131 and 331 serve Holmdel and the surrounding communities and are part of Scouts BSA as members of the Twin Lights District in BSA's Monmouth Council in Monmouth County, NJ. Our Cub Scout Packs are chartered by the Village School PSA and Holmdel Fire Co. #2.
Pack 131/331 meets on a Friday evening once per month from October to June at the Village Elementary School.
The Pack is made up of Dens organized by grade, kindergarten to 5th, and parents serve as the Den Leaders. Dens meet one to two times per month to conduct Scout adventures, make friends, and have fun. Scouts earn badges for their work.
Currently, our Pack only accepts boys in kindergarten to 5th grade.
Below are the badges of rank for Cub Scouts up to joining a Scouts BSA troop.
Cub Scouts work with their Den, as well as the Pack to complete the adventure requirements in each rank.
As Webelos, Cub Scouts work to achieve the Arrow of Light. Once completed, Cub Scouts participate in a ceremony called the Blue and Gold and then they cross over and are welcomed into a Scouts BSA troop.
